Nicktoons is a 24-hour network, that is a sister network to Nickelodeon, and competitive with Toon Disney and Boomerang.
The channel launched on May 1, 2002, as Nicktoons TV, until April 7, 2003, it was known as Nicktoons, until June 6, 2005, it was known as Nicktoons Network, leading to Nicktoon fans thinking the channel's going downhill, and think it got worse on September 28, 2009, when Nick had a new logo, the channel got a new logo, and was renamed Nicktoons.
